Date: Early Bronze Age (c. 3000-2000 BC) - Islamic (AD 636-present)

Copper, bronze, and iron were used to manufacture a wide range of weapons (including so-called “Luristan” types), such as blades, daggers, and axes; and tools, including adzes, points, pins, needles, and fishing hooks. Steel blades for items like swords appear in the 1st millennium AD.
