Date: Neolithic (c. 6800-5500 BC) - Islamic (AD 636-present)

Pendants and beads, appearing from the Neolithic period onward, often use semi-precious imported stones, such as lapis lazuli, carnelian, and agate, and take a variety of forms, including barrel-shaped, biconical, and discoid.
